Alright, I am a big fan of horror movies but the only thing I can cling onto is the classics. Weekend after weekend my brother rents all these "Masters of Horror" and "Fear.net" movies... and all of them im sorry to say are horrible... and some beyond horrible, mostly done with a LCD portable camera in someones back yard.
The latest I watched and liked was "Feast" and enjoyed it very much and of course the Rob Zombies films. So post in here new horror movies that youve seen and enjoyed... so I can contribute in finding decent movies and stop my brother from renting movies that we can only watch for 10 minutes before turning it off. I have a couple but I can't think of the names right now from the Masters of Horror collection that were pretty good, So I will post some tomorrow. |

latest horror movie i watched was Seed. it was surprisingly decent, well shot with subtle cgi.
there are definitely some campy moments, but for a new independent horror flick it's worth checking out. _________________ ...onwards,downwards... |

the last good horror movie i watched was The Mist. I'm a huge Stephen King fan.
Feast was awesome as well. and i was really impressed with Rob Zombie's take on the Halloween movie. really well done. but horror isn't really my preferred genre as far as movies are concerned. i like the quirky strange movies that make you go "WTF?" "He Was A Quiet Man" with Christian Slater was really cool...i got to see Elisha Cuthbert's boobies _________________ if we are all dying, then what's the point of life savings? give all of your money to me. http://soundcloud.com/cyclops_overlord |

behind the mask: the legend ov leslie vernon was pure awesome. takes the whole slasher flick genre and turns it upside down. wonderfully funny; probably more ov a comedy than a horror movie. done documentary-style; a group ov people are folowing a psycho-killer around and interviewing him as he gets set up for a night ov slaughter. highly recommended.

...speaking of the "Masters of Horror" series....
watch Imprint by Takashi Miike. it is probably the only one of those movies that is worth a shit, and it makes you physically uncomfortable to watch. [it of course was banned from being aired on tv, but they still put out the dvd] most new horror movies blow compared to the classics, but honestly, if you want some really good horror flick, watch anything Takashi Miike has ever done. a good example is Ichi the Killer. if you like violence, then that is the movie for you. _________________ cuntworm | biohuman // antihuman | flesh harvest | splatterchrist |
