- for those who can use the ability to record your sound direct from the source to any recording studio/mixer/board or using any other interface/machine...then with mini-KP (known as the mini-kaoss pad) can be a strong weapon.
- this is a perfect/good buy for serious musician's who produce music for your home studio/professional...
- this shit is usefull to control your cd player,mp3 player in fact not all but almost any professional electronic equipment.

*** retailer's and friend told me to step away from that same looking "yellow" machine known as "KAOSSILATOR"...a retailer told me that it's like enjoying this piece for 15-30 min. then it's trash...

don't know if this will help, but i hunted around a bit on the internet and found this:
I had a similiar problem but it was because I chose the wrong settings in preferences window of the editing software. For MIDI In choose "padKONTROL 1 PORT A" and for MIDI out choose padKONTROL 1 CTRL. Now keep in mind I'm using these settings with USB so it probally won't work with MIDI cable but nevertheless it should help. After that you should be fine.

also, if you haven't already, try this software: http://korg-padkontrol-editor-librarian ... r.com/1.0/
